Switched to maintenance calories for a month, keeping the chest game up, hit some warm up sets before everything, have been struggling with bench press and is difficult to hit PRs without a spotter, alas what must be done, must be done.

A cable fly pointed down. I feel like changing your form can really change the feeling and intensity of your exercise. Instead of dragging the cables forward, I drag them downwards, this way iโ€™m changing my form wich makes the workout a bit different! I feel like my chest is still too flat so thats why Iโ€™m trying different routines and exercises. I will get there tho! In the other video I drag the cables forwards, check that post as well.

Een wat ouder filmpje en niet heel professioneel gefilmd ( @mark_jansen100) maar wel een mooi voorbeeld voor de volgende boodschap:

Perform each repetition like it's your only one.

De vorm waarmee je een oefening doet gaat meer resultaat opleveren dan het gewicht waarmee je het doet indien je geen juiste vorm hebt.

Probeer je dus tijdens oefeningen te richten op bewegingen die door de hele ROM (Range of Motion) gaan en het gewicht volgt vanzelf. 
Dat is eigenlijk de enige boodschap achter dit bericht dus succes ermee!

Chest exercises are normally at the bottom of the list for women, or not even on it at all.
Completely avoiding chest is a bad idea as you are training every other part of your body so why would you leave out just that muscle? Training your chest is a great way to build upper body strength

An off-balance training routine could end up developing muscular imbalances. This could lead to bad posture, a bony looking chest, or an inability to perform other exercises correctly. You could also potentially injure yourself trying to do an exercise that involves some chest muscles that can't pull or push their own weight.
- 
You donโ€™t have to necessarily start bench pressing, or even doing cable flys but start with push ups and progress when you feel more confident, you can always do them on your knees if you have too.

Omdat ik vanmorgen nog wat andere dingen te doen had, dus nu meteen โ€˜s middags vroeg gaan trainen. Had het liever โ€˜s morgens gedaan omdat het dan meestal wat rustiger is in de gym, maar ok....โ€™s middags dus. Vandaag voornamelijk #borstspieren + #triceps training en dus 1 keer ook weer een oefening voor #rugspieren (ivm mijn #scoliose pak ik, na 1 volledige #backworkout dag per week, op een andere dag vaak minimaal ook nog 1 keer een rugoefening erbij, omdat ik daar meer baat bij heb. Wel telkens een andere oefening). Deze training ook vrij weinig oefeningen gefilmd en meer focus op de training zelf. O.a. bijvoorbeeld #cableflys gedaan en een vrij intensieve #dumbellworkout en dat heb ik dus ook allemaal niet gefilmd. De concentratie is dan, denk ik, ook beter en vanmiddag best redelijk veel #kcal verbrand mogelijk daardoor. Ik post ook lang niet altijd alle video-opnames. Soms gebruik ik de videoโ€™s namelijk ook om terug te kunnen zien hoe ik bepaalde oefeningen uitvoer en om dan evt te corrigeren waar ik denk dat dit moet. โ—Cable Crossover OR Cable Chest Flyโ— โฉHow to Perform โ“ โฉSet both pulleys directly at (or slightly above) shoulder height and select the desired weight. โฉGrasp both handles with a neutral grip and take a step forward to split the stance. โฉPress the handles to lockout while flexing the pecs and extending the elbows. โฉKeep a slight bend in the elbows, move entirely at the shoulder joint, and slowly allow the arms to open while the pecs stretch. โฉReturn to the starting position by flexing your pecs and bringing the handles together at chest height and do your repetitions as per your set.

Even with torn rotator cuffs in both shoulders, you can still work pecs. 
Use shorter ROM so that you isolate the pectoral muscles which takes the stress off the shoulders. .

My focus all month has been activating my muscles more and squeezing at the peek of each exercise. Itโ€™s been really challenging because, usually my focus is on the rep/form instead of actually working on the activation/squeeze.
