The Drako GTE EV Supercar is a new ‘Hyper-Handling’ EV Supercar by Drako Motors, a Silicon Valley-based auto-engineering firm. The GTE has four electric motors, each providing 302HP (225kW) to collectively make 1200HP and rapid acceleration with a top speed of 206mph. Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes as well as Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres are also utilised to help create a superior driving experience. The innovative software that is housed in the Drako GTE is their proprietary Drako DriveOS, which replaces mechanical axle differentials for computer-managed four-wheel torque vectoring, which can be used to instantly provide maximum traction, stability and handling responsiveness. Dean Drako, the company’s CEO says, “I’ve always been a fan of the electric car, always wanted to have one that has track-capable performance of a traditional sports car… that was a lot of the motivation for building our car.” The Drako GTE is trying to carry on from the SLS Electric Drive and to develop a never-before-seen electric-motor track experience!
