Why should you do more incline bench press ?

1. Majority of the people have upper chest under developed and it is also difficult to develop these muscles, so why not hit them hard and first !

2. Athletically this is a better exercise to get stronger on.

3. Better shape of the chest. (Speaking from experience on this one)

4. Chances of getting injury are less.

5. Amazing front delt development.

Auf dem 2. Bild seht ihr die Ausführung für die untere Brust. Auf dem 3. Bild die Ausführung für die mittlere Brust und auf dem 4 Bild für die obere Brust.

Insgesamt 3 Sätze à 12 Wiederholungen.
So trainieret ihr mit einer Übung eure komplette Brust.
Nehmt lieber weniger Gewicht, dafür stimmt die Ausführung.

On the 2nd picture you can see the execution for the lower breast. On the 3rd picture you see the execution for the middle breast and on the 4th picture for the upper breast.

Altogether 3 sets of 12 repetitions.
So you train your complete breast with one exercise.
Rather take less weight, but the execution is right.

Accessories feeling good this week! A nice little break from main lifts and worrying about numbers. Here are my second to last and last sets of Larsen presses, 90x10 and 95x8. Also did some seated shoulder press, Arnold press, etc. etc. feeling good.

Post 2️⃣7️⃣: Smith machine vs free weights

Look at me back in the game - sorry I've been silent for so long🥺

Super chuffed to be back in the gym and killing it! It was a push day for me today and one of my super sets was smith machine bench press with a shoulder press - strength training - so 4 - 6 - 4 reps per set. 
I use the smith machine because I like to use the limiter/stopper when pushing heavy - when I dont have a spotter...and also because I feel like the motion is so fixed/strict/structured that my form almost has to be half decent - I say half because when you push heavy (like when doing strength training) your form takes a bit of a hit...so additionally having that "added" support (esp. throughout the range of motion) for my form is another reason why I opt for the smith machine. 
There are cons as well - such as using an almost "unnatural" range of motion - thereby increasing the chance of injury if not done correctly...Also lets not kid ourselves - it is assisted - i.e you are getting help - i.e you are doing less of the work...It all depends on the purpose of your exercise/workout... to each his own!

Super chuffed to be back in the gym and killing it! It was a push day for me today and one of my super sets was smith machine bench press with a shoulder press - strength training - so 4 - 6 - 4 reps per set.

Here’s the footage from my latest leg & arm power workout and the thinking behind the programming:
- 🔹 Set 1: I start with a single leg jump variation. I start all of my lower body power workouts with a jump variation since this is the most neurologically demanding movement of the session. The unilateral nature of this jump helps with balance, intermuscular coordination, and muscular imbalances.
This is super-set with band pull aparts. I’m always looking to squeeze in any extra back work I can for my shoulder health.
- 🔹 Set 2: I start the next superset with zercher box squat. Yes that is a smith machine. No I didn’t have any other options. Smith machines aren’t the best but they’re are better than nothing. Plus this one didn’t have a fixed barbell path which helped. These kick ass for building leg and core strength. Also incorporating the box makes me have to break my own inertia at the bottom of the squat, this helps with power/force development. When you touch the box don’t lose your tension. Instead think of the box was a scale, you would want it to only read half of your bodyweight. This is far from just sitting back on the box.
This is drop-set into a goblet squat RDL flow to get some extra volume in and for the challenge.
- 🔹 Set 3: For biceps I hit a more traditional drop-set. The squatting cable curls provide an awesome stretch on the bicep and make it really easy to feel the muscle work. I start with heavy reverse curls, if you don’t use a reverse grip on curls, start now. It will have massive benefits for your forearms and biceps. The reps are kept lower so I can use more weight but the tempo is slow to ensure time under tension. After a 10 second break this goes straight into high rep, slow curls from the same position. This finishes off whatever slow twitch fibers that weren’t already gassed and hits the muscle from a different angle.
- 🔹 Set 4: Here the same thinking went into my tricep drop-set as explained before with biceps.

So to start off, I took a long time off of bench specific training due to shoulder pain. I traded it for a weighted dip, OHP, and pushup specific program to gain strength in different areas. 3️⃣ Decline DB flies (12,10,8,8) after you burn out with flies, do Hammer Press

5️⃣ Chest press machine (15,15,12,10) on last set do a double drop with singles 
6️⃣ Free Motion Low-High Flies (15,12,12,10) double drop on 4
7️⃣ ABS ▶️ CARDIO - 20 minutes on treadmill •
