Since I know it's been a while since I've posted a shirtless flex selfie (which I know motivates literally millions of people), I decided today to post something maybe a little toned down for #motivationalmonday .
A solid number of people are impressed with how motivated of an individual I am, and truth be told, the source of this motivation isn't entirely internal. I surround myself with people who help keep me motivated, quotes and pictures on my phone that I can quickly look up, and framed pictures/canvases like this one in my residence that I walk by daily. This way, whenever I'm dragging ass or falling down, a little motivational pick-me-up is never out of reach. I missed two weeks of training/dieting; 1 week due to injury, another due to vaycay (not mad about either, injuries need respect and vacation was awesome). This morning, it would have been easy for me to just sloth it up and loaf all day, keep the vacation mode turned on. But I got up, decided not to waste my time, and got to work.
Slipping up, getting knocked down, and making mistakes happen in every arena of life. What's important is to remember that you are a constant rough draft of the next edition of yourself, one that is better, smarter, healthier and happier than the last one. So stay motivated, and pick yourself up and get after it. I'll leave the famous Rocky quote for you to look up yourself (I don't have that one framed). #this #isn 't #even #my #final #form
