CLA: What is it? A type of trans fat (polyunsaturated) omega-6 fatty acid found in vegetable oils and red meat/dairy products. CLA is common in fat burning supplements and can be supplemented on its own. The supplement version of CLA is made by chemically altering vegetable oils. -
⭕️Claimed Benefits: ✅aid in fat loss ✅reduce chances of getting type II Diabetes and cancers ✅reduce food intake ✅improve body composition -
⭕️Research: many studies performed on animals such as rats. Limited studies on humans with mixed results. Most benefits are apparently correlated with obese or the elderly predominantly. -
🔷My advice: I supplemented CLA for 6 months with no noticeable results fat loss related. CLA has no reported negative effects on performance in the gym, so if you do take CLA you should be fine provided you only take recommended doses. If you are not obese or older, I would not personally recommend supplementing CLA unless you don’t get a lot of it in your natural diet. -

Than the answer is YES! Fish oil is an essential ally in your fat loss efforts. There isn't any condition that it isn't improved with the consumption of fish oil. .

Yesterday I was asked a question via a DM on what I thought about a well-known brand of Fat Burner.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Without wanting to point blank say - “Save your money”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I thought I’d do a little research into the product and its key ingredients. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
One thing for sure is it is PACKED with ingredients but a few of them stand out -
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Raspberry Ketones :
Touted as the next best thing is fat burning and loved by many Keto fans across the world. However, when you look into the research it shows that whilst they can exert a fat burning effect this was only shown “in vitro”. As in a test-tube. 
The same concentrations cannot be replicated in the human body and most definitely not by an oral supplement.

Said supplement also contained Caffeine which 99% of fat burners do and also a “cortisol inhibiting complex”
Which sounds fancy but why would you want it In the same product as something containing 4-500mg of Caffeine?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Of course, there was the standard green tea extract but not to be happy with that also black tea, Oolong tea, white tea and coffee bean extract.
All which would never be dosed high enough to have an effect.

These products sound fancy and have impressive lists of strange ingredients but do they actually work?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And don’t play the placebo card - Making people spend money because they “think” it works is worse than the product itself.

So you keep smiling and telling yourself the fat burners are working, I’ll stick to the methods that do work.

If you wanna lose fat, there’s no secret that you need to be in a calorie deficit 🍏

Here are some of my best tips on how to maintain a calorie deficit and make sure you lose fat over time:
.
Eat protein and veggies with every meal, while avoiding liquid calories most of the time🥤
.
Educate yourself about nutrition. Start reading food labels, and use MyFitnessPal (or Lifesum) to track your calorie intake 😉
.
Combine all of these with resistance training at least 3 times/week - and don’t forget to enjoy life too. Be flexible with your diet in order to make it sustainable 🍪
.
If you track your intake, you’ll be able to maintain a calorie deficit while treating yourself when there is extra room for it 🍕
.
Don’t forget that great results take them and that you have to be patient. Consistency is the key to long-term (long lasting) results 👊
