When I work with my @ladythefup clients, one of the intro questions I ask them is “what are some of the foods you crave” so I can provide them with an alternative so they learn that eating “healthy” doesn’t have to suck. Surprisingly, a very common answer to that question is an Ice Capp or Frappucino. These are typically “mindless calories” that don’t keep you full, provide very little beneficial nutrients and both are packed with ton of processed sugar, artificial flavours, chemical additives and dairy.
A standard large Mocha Ice Capp from Tim Hortons is 290 calories (42C 11F 2P) and a Mocha Frappucino from Starbucks has 300 calories (51C 4F 4P). That’s typically 25 - 50% of total carbohydrates FOR THE ENTIRE DAY for most people.
Instead, what I recommend is blending the following: -Nut milk (unsweetened coconut milk)
-Instant coffee or cold brew coffee -Ice cubes
-1 serving of chocolate protein powder (chocolate collagen peptides) -Stevia
The nutrition info for this...89 calories, 11P 5C 3F 🤯 The taste is almost identical and like most food choices, it’s SO MUCH CHEAPER to make at home.
