Mit entsprechendem Equipment, wie z.B. der Kettlebell, wie es hier @valentinapavin und @susi_mair zeigen, kannst Du den „Side Squat“ noch intensivieren. Ganz wichtig 👉🏻 Achte darauf, dass Du Deine Knie nicht nach innen oder aussen verdrehst. Des Weiteren sollte Dein Knie am Ende der Beugung nicht über die Fußspitze hinausragen.

Power and control. I like this type of training. Doing a heavy set of 5/6 and then finishing the set with a lighter weight, fully controlled.

When you are looking for maximum results, you can't just train hard - you have to train smart!

Here are some tips on training smarter so you're making the most of your workout:

1) Change up your routine - Although you might be set in your ways and used to seeing great results from your strict workout routine, in order to stay safe whilst working out as well as evenly tone your body it is important to change your routine. Even if it's only every once in a while!

2) All about the form - Improper form not only means you're not getting the most of your workout but is also unsafe for your body. Focusing on getting your form perfect is worth the extra time and effort. We can even advise on what form is best for any pain that you have been having trouble with in the gym.

3) High vs. low intensity - HIIT is always a winner for getting the most out of your workout but make sure to switch in slower, lower intensity workouts in between to really get the hit from HIIT.

Creating goals and targets is key for motivation and improving in life and in the gym, getting better at whatever it is you wish to do,  and SMART TARGETS is one way to do that

SPECIFIC : Your target needs to be specific to what you wish to achieve whether it be to get stronger and fitter.  For example if you was aiming to lift 120Kg at bench press,  your target isnt going to include legs or abs goals 
_
MEASURABLE : Your target needs to be measurable so that you can determine when the goal has been completed,  and how much progress is being made.  For example you stating how much you are going to lift (120kg)  allows you to have knowledge of how close you are to achieving the target 
_
ATTAINABLE : Your goal needs to be achievable,  as if you set your target too high,  you are not going to be able to accomplish the target and then motivation can be lost,  it is better to set lots of little checkpoint goals rather than one massive goal that will take a long time
-
REALISTIC : Your goal needs to be realistic,  to make sure that you have the resources and time to actually achieve the goal,  for example whether you have access to a gym or whether you train hard and frequent enough to be able to improve quick enough to achieve the goal
- 
TIMEBOUND : Your goal needs to be timebound so that motivation is high,  as you could begin to slack off and not put in enough effort if your goal does not have a deadline.  For example your goal may be to achieve 120kg bench press in under 3 weeks.

Today was a bit of everything but abs and core was the main focus.  Ab routines are so beneficial in my loose skin journey. The bulk of  my skin is in that area, so on top of the amazing benefits of just having a great ab routine toning that area will make my recovery and progress after skin removal a bit easier. .

My stomach is on fire but it's so worth it. Remember to focus on your journey. Dont monitor your success based off someone else's. Be you because you're one of a kind. Happ Monday. .

Another 5k after work. Managed to keep all but the first kilometer under 8minutes, and the first 3k were all at 7kmph speed on the treadmill. Pulled it back a bit purely because I was so hot. My legs felt a bit tired after yesterday, but pushed through and ramped it up to 8.4kmph for the last 200m. On holiday and want to burn off some of those extra calories?? ⭐️Look no further....Walking in soft sand burns almost twice the amount of calories as walking the same distance on a flat surface!!

Walking on soft sand requires more effort. This additional effort requires more energy, which in turn requires calories to be burned to produce that energy.

Activate your stabilizer muscles, and burn up to 350 calories in an hour of very brisk walking on soft sand.

Sand walking is beneficial due to the added stress and strain that is placed on the muscles, tendons and joints. The foot “sinks” into the sand and this requires the muscles to work harder to propel you forward for the next step.

These are sneakily one of my favorite pieces of equipment; for a few good reasons:⁠⠀

1. They're extremely versatile. You can train almost anything, in any conceivable pattern.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
2. You can use them by themselves or in conjunction with other major movements. You can add accommodating resistance to help strengthen your major movements (i.e. Squats Deadlifts and Bench Press)⁠⠀
⁠⠀
3. They're lightweight and portable. Throw them in your suitcase and take them on the road with you. The don't take up much space, they won't really add any weight to your bags. See point 1.⁠⠀

Mondays are literally my hardest days waking up and getting in the gym. Especially because I tend not to work out on the weekends. I also consume more "beverage" than I should. But I make it my business to get at least an hr in. Since it's #internationalchestday

• dumbbell press
-15 reps x 4sets
• bench dips
-15 reps x 4 sets
• Peck dec
-15 reps x 4 sets
•Push-ups -10 reps x 4 sets (my least favorite)
•pullovers
-15 reps x 4 sets .
