Stress affects us all in many different ways. It can affect our #concentration , our #mood and even our #physicalhealth .
We all deal with #stress in different ways
Sometimes we want to blow off some steam and work up a #sweat . This certainly worked for founder of @tribe.mcr, Dr @jessicarrmoorhouse for a number of years whilst working full time as a doctor.
Sometimes, however, this #highintensity exercise can fuel stress and #anxiety levels and it may be a better idea to take things #slow and move more #mindfully . It is important to recognise what your #mind and #body needs.
Sometimes it can also be helpful to #chat through your thought processes with other people over a good #brew . We often are going through very similar things, despite the facade we often see.
We are therefore delighted to be collaborating with Eiran from @cariad.yoga cariad on this very special event in September. Together we will be covering the following aspects
Short and sweet #HIIT session led by Dr Jessicarr Moorhouse from @tribe.mcr. This will involve high energy solo and partner work, designed to leave you feeling fantastic
DISCUSS & NOURISH
We will then sit down and have an open conversation about stress: about the experiences that Eirian and Dr Jessicarr have of stress and anxiety, how this can manifest both physically and mentally, and how we can use movement, yoga and meditation to help. Complete with nourishing drinks snacks.
YOGA AND MEDITATION
We will then invite you to slow down as Eirian guides you through calming yoga and mindfulness meditation techniques designed to help you release stress, unwind and reset.
