Today night race was an unforgettable experience!
Going into the race we weren’t quite sure when the pace would be although we came positively.
Morning practice was a shocker we were half a second of the leading driver which gave us a wake up call early enough to make changes on the kart for quali.
Qualifying wasn’t bad we still didn’t have the pace we wanted although we secured a good 4th position and we knew that the goal for the race is to make no mistakes and try overtake at the start.
H1/ As the lights went of we had a good run going into the first Corner and as I went for the pass the guy pushed me wide making me loose a position up into 5th and I couldn’t recover.
H2/ I knew that if I wanted to get pole for the day I would’ve had to pull out 3rd position so as the lights go off we didn’t have a bad start. We didn’t loose or gain although the kart was handling perfect and just when I thought everything was going good I made a small mistake costing us dearly, and lost a position although it was early enough in the race to overtake 2 places and I did so finishing 4th.
Last race was the best in extremely dark conditions we made a few mistakes at least we didn’t loose to much time, I was on their tale for a long time and eventually one of the guys made a mistake and I overtook another guy finishing 2nd.
And overall we finished 4th not bad just not the position we hoped for,we pushed the whole day to get the kart in the best condition although I felt we had the potential for pole today but we’ll come Back stronger, we all learn form our mistakes and for the fact it my rookie season, not bad. I just wanna say a huge thank you to all the people supporting me and to my race team Sebastian Lanzetti for the day. #keeppushing #karting #rookieseason #24 #teamk #SebastianLanzetti #comebackstronger ❤️✅👌😤
