🔥Structuring your workout program🔥

Every workout program needs structure. In the exercises you choose, the reps you perform, the weight you use, your program needs structure. Periodization is essentially having a plan and a structure to reach a defined goal and doing so by scheduling periods dedicated to specific fitness components. There are three very common ways to periodize a program for the basic components of strength: hypertrophy, power, and strength itself. Linear periodization is the most common and generally is when we have a period, known as a mesocycle that lasts about 4-6 weeks, of hypertrophy training followed by a period of strength and then a period of power training. Another popular one is weekly undulating where we take those same three components and make them weekly blocks where one week is focused on hypertrophy, the next on strength and then power. Lastly, we have a very popular Westside Barbell method which is daily changes in focus. The way it works is having max effort upper body and lower body days which each focus on a main lift and then upper body and lower body power days known as dynamic effort days and again both have a main lift of focus. Hypertrophy training, known as the repetition method, happens after the main lifts each workout day.

Pero umiimpis naman ang tyan ko tsaka kita ko na may korte na ang upper abs at lower back muscle. Kaya sobrang confused ako at ayoko pa magpost ng result ko after 30 days.

Kanina ko lang naalala na meron nga palang machine sa gym na nakakameasure ng fat sa katawan. Tuwang tuwa ako na kaya pala di nababawasan ang timbang ko kasi napalitan ng muscles ang fats ko! 🔥Sabi ng gym instructor ko na ang laki ng improvement sa pagbawas ng Visceral Fat ko. “Eat your water” is often a dietary cue that I like to advise my clients in order to help improve their diet, performance, weight loss etc. & common sense should tell you why

1: Diet quality: Instead of aggressively cuing someone to just “EAT HEALTHY”, by instructing them to focus on eating more water you subconsciously “trick” them into sig. improving the quality of their diet as most foods with the highest water content are fruits & veggies (Slavin & Lloyd 2012). Furthermore, these foods are often the lowest in kcals & highest in fibre/micronutrients (Darmon et al 2005) which, let’s face it, most people don’t get enough therefore, highly beneficial for further improving overall health, physical performance and prevention of disease (Shenkin 2006, Maughan 1999). Finally as a result of being high in water/fibre & low in kcals (some also being highly voluminous), when increasing the amount of servings of high water containing foods one can involuntarily reduce caloric intake(Daniels & Popkin 2010, Dennis et al 2009,Tucker & Thomas 2009) mainly via increasing fullness (Keenan et al 2006, Clark 2013, Blundell 1987, Latner et al 2008 & 2009), perfect for those wanting to lose weight by making adhering to sustaining a kcal deficit that little bit easier

2: Increases hydration status: As little as 2% dehydration can lead to dramatic decrements in performance, increased fatigue, altered thermoregulatory capability, reduced motivation & increased RPE (Montain & Coyle 1992, Cheuvront & Carter 2003, Murray 2007). Therefore, as hydration is an often neglected component to most people’s diets, eating high water containing foods can help increase one’s water intake to avoid dehydration. ——

It's so common to see PT's giving their clients the same old meal plan year after year.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It normally consists of some combination of chicken breast, broccoli, rice, a few almonds and maybe some sweet potato if you're lucky.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now, will this meal plan 'work'?⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In one sense yes.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It will drastically reduce calorie intake, and any diet that creates a calorie deficit will 'work'.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
However, a diet only truly works in the long run if it is SUSTAINABLE.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And this sort of plan is the opposite of sustainable.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

How do you stick to this plan on the weekend when you're going out to eat?⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

These restrictive meal plans are also so limited in their food variety that you run the risk of creating nutrient deficiencies.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Perhaps worst of all, they often damage peoples relationship with food.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This creates orthorexic eating habits as people start to label food as something which is either 'good' or 'bad'. As a 'guilt-free' food, or a 'guilty'.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

There is, of course, a better way - educate yourself about macros, and how to create a sustainable diet with flexible food choices.⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Pero umiimpis naman ang tyan ko tsaka kita ko na may korte na ang upper abs at lower back muscle. Kaya sobrang confused ako at ayoko pa magpost ng result ko after 30 days.

Kanina ko lang naalala na meron nga palang machine sa gym na nakakameasure ng fat sa katawan. Tuwang tuwa ako na kaya pala di nababawasan ang timbang ko kasi napalitan ng muscles ang fats ko! 🔥Sabi ng gym instructor ko na ang laki ng improvement sa pagbawas ng Visceral Fat ko. Ibig sabihin yung mga taba na nakadikit sa internal organs ko ay nabawasan! From 38 down to 33!🔥 Sana mag batch 2 na!

Let’s say your maintenance is 2500 calories and you’re in a 20% deficit (2000 calories) to lose fat.⁣⠀

Now if you eat 2000 calories 6 days a week and have one cheat day where you consume 5500 calories or more, you’re not going to lose fat.⁣⠀
⁣⠀
Now if you're sitting there thinking '5500 calories is absurd, I could never eat that much', you may need to think again. A big takeaway pizza and Ben and Jerrys ice cream could easily set you back 3000 calories, and that's just 1 meal! Imagine what you could put away in a whole cheat day.⁣⠀

I'm not saying you can't ever treat yourself and enjoy life, but it’s all about how much and how often you do it.⁣⠀

As long as you’re in a deficit you’re going to lose fat - but if you tonnes more during the weekends, it might undo all your hard work!⁣⠀

"Dirty carnivore?" I believe some call it. But hey, it's nice to be able to throw this down and not worry about any repercussions or adverse consequences. In fact, I stay quite lean, healthy and energetic! Its a Wendy's triple bacon jalapeno cheeseburger and 3 years ago this would have resulted in GERD requiring intervention. Not anymore!  My weekly toxins are those jalapenos btw... ha! What's not pictured is the double quarter pounder w/cheese from McD's as my appetizer 😄...my wife thinks I'm hilarious. When it's my one meal in the day, I need those calories...I'm not cutting so it works quite well. I still eat mostly ground beef, steak, and eggs during the week. This woe is really a game changer, and my health and fitness have never been better. It's a simple yet powerful return to human essentials ... animal-based protein and fat. Results trump dogma. Say #yes2meat.

🔥Height : 160 cm / 5'3"
🔥BMI : Normal
🔥Gym visits from July 10 - Aug 8 : 7 only
🔥Fitness Goal: Mabawasan ang body fat specially sa tummy area at thighs.
🔥Result: Nabawasan ng 1 kg overall body fat at nadagdagan ang lean body mass. Meaning ang taba ko napalitan ng muscles! ❤️ Sa totoo lang akala ko walang improvement kasi nagbase ako sa weight ko. DO NOT STRESS YOURSELF SA PAGTIMBANG EVERYDAY. Wag nio ko gayahin hahaha! 
Pero umiimpis naman ang tyan ko tsaka kita ko na may korte na ang upper abs at lower back muscle. Kaya sobrang confused ako at ayoko pa magpost ng result ko after 30 days.

Kanina ko lang naalala na meron nga palang machine sa gym na nakakameasure ng fat sa katawan. Tuwang tuwa ako na kaya pala di nababawasan ang timbang ko kasi napalitan ng muscles ang fats ko! 🔥Sabi ng gym instructor ko na ang laki ng improvement sa pagbawas ng Visceral Fat ko. Ibig sabihin yung mga taba na nakadikit sa internal organs ko ay nabawasan! From 38 down to 33!🔥 Sana mag batch 2 na!
Mamala capsule really helped me. 
1 cup of rice na lang ako a day dahil mabilis na ako mabusog dahil sa Mamala capsules.
Di ako strict sa diet ko (aminado naman 😅). Madalas na din ako nagdedetox.
