This is me in June trying to see how many pull ups I could do at 200lbs 😬 Long story short it was very hard and I was very disappointed thinking back to a time when ten pull ups was no problem ⁣

Thankfully I have been working up since then and can now do a solid 7 or 8 clean reps! This week I  started a new pull up program that has put me on the road to 20 - 50 pull ups 😬 😃⁣

Well just have to see, have a great weekend! And don’t forget to put work in on the weekends that’s how you get ahead of everyone else 💪🏻⁣

2️⃣x 10 side to side toe taps. Use at your own discretion, for forwards and backwards I decided to do more on one ankle than the other. Just due to ankle strength but I’m working on getting better. Challenge yourself! Some people overestimate but don’t underestimate your abilities because you might surprise yourself.

There are people out there that want to make fat loss this super complicated process with complicated calculations, specific training plans, and a time investment that is completely unrealistic for most people.

The good news? It doesn’t have to be that way. But there are a few things that once you embrace them will help you immensely:

Being consistent will always win out. Always. Whether it’s with fat loss, muscle building, or anything in life, being consistent with something is a win. There aren’t many guarantees in life other than death and taxes, but consistency is the other.

Fat loss is going to take way longer than what you want. It always does, so take a deep breath, and be in it for the long haul. Look, there’s no finish line, no “I’ve arrived” moment. This journey is for life, and once you can truly let go of timelines and expectations, the journey itself will not only smooth out, but it’s going to be a shit ton of fun.

One other guarantee: At some point, you are going to feel like it’s not working and you will want to quit. Guaranteed. Maybe life got in the way and you got off track. Maybe way off track. Cool. Just hop back on and keep going. Literally that’s it. Remember, this is a long game, and as long as you keep going and never give up, you WILL succeed.
