As part of this weight loss journey I have said to myself, I need to try new activities and not just do the normal gym session. You are all go. It’s all more, more and more. 1 more rep, 1 more round, 1 more sprint. Just 1 more scoop of pre-workout, another coffee or energy drink.....⁣

Yet you always fall short. You’re always feeling ⁣
- Exhausted ⁣

I’m all for pushing the boundaries but how many of you take the time to rest and recover properly? Especially those looking to take things to the next level in the sport⁣

In order to perform at the top level or even make progress with your fat loss and muscle building goals you have to prioritise rest and recovery!!⁣

You should be looking at a 2 to 1 ratio of rest and recovery inputs to that of training. ⁣

For the past 2 wks I've been cutting trying to lose some fat so that my muscle are more defined. Not only that but a goal of mines was to hit the 180's by my 30th birthday which BTW is about 2 and half weeks out. I'm right at the brink 190!!!! I've never been more motivated. Cardio is no friend of mines so I'm happy to see that my muscles are still there through this process. I've also been focusing alot on my legs and butt. Hoping to tone them alot more. 
Giving up is not an option for me!! The one of the left is me today and the one on the right was me 8th of may. I know to some people this isnt much of a differance but to me this is huge finally seeing some movement of fat and more definition of muscle begin to grow.

My deload week has started I half failed haha. I did do low weight exercises but also tried new ones with heavy weights so it became a mixed work out. Back and shoulders tonight. .

Made it to the gym today alittle later then my usual time but I made it and that's what counts. I had no plan or workout routine I completely winged it 😂😂 I'm in my cutting stage to lose fat and lean out alittle. So I've stepped back alot from weight lifting and added more cardio and HITT. I'm more then positive I'll be losing muscle during this phase but it's ok its part of the process!

I've been away from the gym since last wednesday and what a way to get myself back into it. Got that 170kg deadlift feeling super happy about that. Then to top it off is the leg transformation from the 6th of may to now.
It's all about the grind and the motivation you get off other people thanks to @nikjohnson_fitness for the push today :).
