NOT NOW,NOT EVER!! Thomas Edison- "Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up". Most people have lost out in the race of destiny,because they either quit at the sign of challenges,or they are stuck in the clutches of past victories.

Many are ready,should you ask,to recount the "frustrating" situations that kept them "bound",so you could have "pity" on them on the poverty-stricken life they've chosen.

When are we going to sit up?

Life is not a marathon,it's a series of short races.
So, if you must succeed,you have to run through each race to the end.

- 40g arašidovega masla @proteini.si_slovenija - 10g medu
- 50g grovo mletih ovsenih kosmičev
- 30g vaših najljubših vanilijevih proteinov
- 20g zmletih mandljev
- 1/2 žličke pecilnega praška
- ščepec soli
- 60/80ml mleka (lahko tudi rastlinskega) 🍴POSTOPEK:
- vse sestavine zmešamo skupaj, oblikujemo cca 18 ploščatih, majhnih piškotov, položimo na peki papir in pečemo na 180C; 8-10min.
Pustimo da se ohladijo.

- 40g vaših najljubših čokoladnih proteinov
- 30g arašidovega masla @proteini.si_slovenija - 20g kakava v prahu

After this week's programming, my body told me to sleep in the last two days, so I did. As such, I didn't have time to run the 15 miles I was supposed to this morning, so I decided to run them after my shift at the hospital. A nighttime run with a little rain felt amazing!! 10/10 would recommend!

So after a few hours kip, I think it’s best to write a thank you post about yesterday. I am still pinching myself to be honest. First of all thank you to my two new family members @kieranruns (in the pic) and Deano who not only got me through the hell, but showed me how great our community really is. Yes were were racing but we still were there for each other every minute and that was special. It meant so much. @bysvykendave89 and Sally for putting on the most epically evil, horrendous 36 hours of my life. You did create something amazing when you let us start. Thank you too all the crew/marshalls/support lots to name but two that really did get me through were @tracywaitept_ and @shortstuffultra. My two sponsors @tailwindnutritionuk and @uglowsport for their support they continue to give me, they definitely had a big part in yesterday’s success and finally for 36 hours my support crew, my wife Cathy who not only gave every minute to make sure I was ok, feed, hydrated but she made sure the other 36 hour runners were too. She adopted them and helped us all finish. She devised I could achieve what I did, and she planned my success. I just had to do the easy bit of running. Like always a blog will follow in due course 🏃🏻‍♂️

Medal Monday is a throwback to May when I did the Edinburgh half marathon for the second time. 🧡
Last year I ran it with an injury (yeah I know I shouldn't have!), so had to take it easy-ish, which meant I only got a Personal Best by a couple of seconds. So this year I went back to beat what I did last year, and beat my PB by 9 minutes! I completed it in 2:16:16

In two weeks I do my 4th half marathon by taking part in the Great North Run for the second time. I'm not sure I can beat my Edinburgh PB due to the amount of people taking part, but I sure will try! It's all about the taking part and trying to do your absolute best, as long as you give it your all then nothing else matters! 🧡
If you fancy hitting some personal bests, or want to start training from scratch, whether it be running, other types of cardio, weights, or anything else you want then I hope you would consider me as your personal trainer in the future!
