First session back home done, was great👌🏻👌🏻 Did a lighter one to start
Back home after 5 weeks. Bosnia, Croatia, Bavaria/austria...Was a great trip! Man, feel like it's a year ago that I left home to head off to bosnia😅. Like I said, it was great in terms of all the things I did. Yes, my daily routine/productivity suffered in croatia and bavaria which I regret a bit but hey, it starts again now. Therefor, I got to see so many great places, it was amazing!🙏🏻 (Wanna see them? 👉🏻 Story highlight: Travel). In terms of training, it was mainly bodyweight in bosnia and croatia and it worked good as well👌🏻. But I'm damn happy to start with my weight training again now!🏋🏻 I took the 10 days in bavaria off as my "deload" after a brutal 7.5 week mesocycle. Feeling fresh and ready now. Gonna hit a full body session after I write this post to initiate the new macrocycle⚔. First mesocycle will be focussed on gaining back my strength from before this trip. I expect a strength loss from ~15% due to not executing certain movements such as barbell rows, deadlifts, floor press etc. because I replaced them with bw excersises for the time I had no weights/gym available. So, gonna start today at ~85% of my "pre trip loads" and work my way back up. HYPED TO TRAIN🔥
Like I said at the beginning of the vacation, I ate what I wanted and didn't stress about it. And what can I say? It worked good✅ Yeah, I ate a bit too much the last days of vacation😁🐷 but it did nothing really since I still was very active even tho' I didn't train. Throughout the whole 5 weeks, I aimed to get in my protein and micros daily. The rest of my eating was just what I wanted, but in helathy amounts (Kept the calories the foods have + the calories I ate in mind so that I always knew how many calories I ate approximately). It worked good! Yeah, I probably gained a few Kg (Didn't weigh myself) but since I'll start a serious bulk from now on anyways it ain't that bad/is maybe even helpful. Getting back to my regular eating habits now.
