Today I had lunch plans in New Hope, PA with some fellow coaches, so Matt and I didn't have time to hit our normal trails in the Lehigh Valley.
With my trip to Oregon in a few weeks, I still wanted to get in a short hike with a loaded bag, so we decided to explore the trails @valleyforgepark.
We started by hiking up Mt. Misery, continued onto the Horseshoe Trail where and we were rewarded with some tree graffiti, a tinman, and someone's birdhouse workshop. We then doubled back and added the Wolfinger Trail to gain some extra distance and elevation. (3.75 miles, 700 ft of elevation and all the sweat thanks to the 99.9999% humidity)
After lunch, we decided to play tourist and take a selfies of ourselves with one foot in PA and one in NJ. Of course none of them came out, but it was fun anyway.
