Blueberry waffles. Simple recipe.
1 scoop protein powder, 1 egg, 1 tbsp melted butter, 1 oz blueberries. Topped them with 1 tbsp butter and half a serving of sugar free syrup. This hit the spot this morning with my coffee!

Yesterday was my son’s birthday! I can’t believe I have a 4 year old! Time flies! It’s been a bumpy road already lmbo but it’s a blessing because I learn so much from him! ❤️ enjoy your kids guys!

Today’s mood? Grumpy and exhausted. Today’s quote? “You will NEVER always be motivated. You have to learn to be DISCIPLINED!” I’ve had some huge realizations from our mini 1 overnight getaway. 1. One night is never enough, though I’m incredibly blessed that we got away. 2. I’m thankful that I can eat whatever I want and have no mental regrets. Now, that’s mental, not physical. For a day and a half, I ate what I wanted and felt no guilt. BUT my body is lethargic and exhausted. I do not miss feeling like this for so many years. 3. I’m thankful that my mindset has changed. I’m at the gym. I’m completely and utterly exhausted. Because of habits and discipline I’m here. I’m back into my routine. When people say it matters what you do most of the time, it’s true. I’m not starting over. I’m not resetting. I’m not jumping back into a calorie deficit because I may be carrying around extra weight. I’m simply living. Even though I feel like complete crap, I’m proud of myself for not letting the scale dictate my mood. I’m sure the scale is up and I don’t care. This is the rest of my life we are talking about. Whether you are in a calorie deficit or maintaining, keep going. Learn to have a no regrets relationship with food. Learn to love your body, where you are at right at this moment. Let your ultimate goal be healthy, and not so number focused. I still want a BMI under 30 (yes, it’s okay to put some thought into BMI. Yes it doesn’t tell the entire story, but I still believe that it has some credibility.) I just want to feel awake and strong. I’m going to clean this morning, get back to my eating routine and flush this crud out of my body. And thank God that I’m not hopeless like I once was. Same girl, just a little lighter and in a better mind space. google photos really grabbed my attention this morning with the picture on the left and can I just say: I’ve been kinda upset with myself lately because I’ve been messing up my progress quite a bit but looking back on that picture, I’m so proud of myself for everything that I’ve accomplished when it comes to my fitness goals. The girl in the first picture is just as beautiful as the girl on the right, but now I’m learning to love myself every day and not take the body that I have for granted. Back then I was unhappy, but now I’ve found joy in life and I’m more comfortable in my own skin. I’ll pretty much be unstoppable when I reach my end goal 🤪. I mean.... just look at the difference between my shoulders and my hands ??? Insane

FIRE YOUR DELTOIDS AND TRICEPS WITH CHINESE PUSH-UPS:
Chinese Push-ups are a great exercise to superset with your current chest and tricep routine. Start standing with your heels together bending over and placing the hands in a diamond formation with the back and core held in a neutral, straight line. There should be minimal flexion of the lower back. The tips of your index fingers and thumbs should be touching. Keep everything but your arms in a fixed position, your back straight and your butt in the air, bend your arms at the elbows until the top of your head almost touches the ground between your hands. Return to the starting position and repeat for 3-5 sets of the desired amount of repetitions.

Week 26 day 1. Legs, abs and 1 mile run 1/4 mile walk. 6 days left to complete 6 months! Pretty excited for so many reasons. 1. At my age my mother had already lost the ability to walk. 2. I get to rock this sweet boot 24/7 for the next 4 weeks! .

While it’s not the easiest thing to maneuver around in and is heavy (perfect for leg lifts) I’m glad to be moving in some direction instead of being told to wait it out, while being in tremendous amounts of pain. .

I’m still going to workout, I’ll just have to modify and change up what I do. I still have goals and plans and I want to prove to myself that I when roadblocks happen I can still make progress! .
