Arnold Strongman Australia has announced a 150kg Log clean and press for reps as one of the 6 events for the 2019 Australia’s Strongest Man Championship. .
So I decided the taste the waters and hit 5 reps.

Been so long to squat above two hunnid kilos but Fuk me I fuked up big time lmfao did the month ahead program kms I was tired as shit balls saggin and weights made me dead. I’ll probs do smth stupid tmr like bench and accessories and then proceed to do the normal program kms these were heavier than they were supposed to B fuk .

CHEST & SHOULDERS WORK OUT
Lateral raises 
Working into those shoulders the anterior deltoid, the supraspinatus and the trapezius. • Starting with a nice light weight
• Keeping a slight bend in your knees so not to lock out the legs
• keeping a flat back and tummy pulled in

Complete one warm up round with super light weights and add a bit more each set  without compromising form (3sets 10-12 reps)

💥Shoulder Health💥

Often slipping under the radar in training and day to day life is awareness of the integrity and health of the shoulders.

Without a strong and mobile shoulder joint, you will often encounter a host of pain and discomfort.

From nerve impingement to a sore neck, all of these can originate at the shoulder.

Whether you suffer from poor shoulder health already or you don’t, adding these next few exercises in will play a huge role in keeping them or getting them healthy.

Picture:
1a) A soft tissue trigger first to ‘loosen’ up around the joint. Shown is one of a host you could choose from. Place trigger ball below the shoulder joint about 2-3cm and press hard against the pole/wall while pulling your arm across chest.

2a & b) Now we move on to mobilise and stabilise the shoulder with the ‘bus driver’ exercises with a micro band around the wrists. Rotate with straight arms keeping full tension on the band. This will increase rotation at the shoulder while the band acts as an honesty system not allowing you to lose tension. Repeat a good 10-20 rotations on either way nice and slowly. 
3a & b) Again this Exercise will help mobilise and strengthen the shoulder. This is a quadruped overhead extension performed with a band. With a neutral spine and tension in the band press forward over head while looking toward the floor, reach the arm until full extension is met. Slowly bring arm back to starting position and repeat 10-20 times on each side. Increase band thickness to increase difficulty.

Some assistance work. Incline bench is a great movement to assist overhead presses. This 150kg was meant to be a double but felt a slight tweak in my pec so I racked it. Thanks @tomwewege for the spot. •

What a way to end my summer. After 3 years off, I FINALLY know where my heart is at and what I’m aiming for. This summer was full of so much love, adventure, drama, new friendships, lots of volleyball, tan lines, and clarity. After what was the worst time of my life, paved a way for a new, brighter, and promising time. It was nice way to end off summer especially with good company. I’ve never been more ready to chase my dreams than I am right now at 24. God meant for me to walk the path I have taken and I will trust in the way He leads me. “He humbled their hearts through hardship..” (Psalm 107:12) that he did. Almost a year and a half later, God has definitely shaped me and molded into the strong woman I am today. I don’t regret what I have been through, the experiences I’ve had, and the people I’ve met along the way. Through all of that, I’ve learned to be fearless in loving myself and living because life is too short to hold back and I don’t want to know what happens if I do. // #lastdayofsummer
