Week Recap: 6 Monate kein Sport.

Hallo, melde mich auch mal wieder mit Sport und wahrscheinlich auch das letzte mal für eine sehr lange Zeit. In den Videos ist mein letztes richtiges Training von vor 2 Wochen zu sehen. Aus der Woche, in der mir bewusst wurde, dass die kleine Beule in meiner Leiste, die ich da bereits mehrere Jahre habe, keine Dysbalance in der unteren Bauchmuskulatur ist, sondern mein Darm, der sich da langsam durch das Bauchfell schiebt und immer größer wird. Ich habe einen Leistenbruch. Natürlich macht er sich auch erst dann bemerkbar, wenn ich gerade auf dem Höhepunkt meiner Leistung bin.. Kurz vor einem Wettkampf.. Und kurz vorm Urlaub.. Sport hat sich damit erstmal erledigt. Die Operation ist im Oktober, da sie sonst zu knapp vorm Urlaub gewesen wäre und es bis dahin nicht verheilt wäre. Nach der Op darf ich wohl bis zu 12 Wochen lang nicht mehr als 5 kg heben und danach erst langsam wieder ran tasten. Ich hoffe, dass es nicht ganz so schlimm sein wird und es nicht ganz so lange dauert. Sonst werde ich ja noch mehr zum Lappen, die ersten 5 kg habe ich schon verloren. 😭

➡️ Bird Dogs 🐦🐕 - This exercise is great for those that have a hard time with pelvic anti-rotation control and for moving the hips independently from our spines. Keep a neutral spine during this movement!

➡️ Banded Deadbug Pulls🐜 - Here we do a core endurance exercise to help with multisegmental spinal stability.

➡️ Banded Bearcrawl Abductions 🐻 - This is a tough variant! Here we throw in some challenging hip stability movements while still leveling up our core endurance.

It’s about having the discipline to do the hard things on the days you’d rather do anything else. It’s about creating the habit of doing what you have to do now, to accomplish the goals you have for the person you want to become.

And there’s my little Sunday rant

A little reminder that you aren’t going to always “feel like it”. Some days it might be the last thing you want to do 🗣But those are the days that matter most!

It’s about having the discipline to do the hard things on the days you’d rather do anything else. It’s about creating the habit of doing what you have to do now, to accomplish the goals you have for the person you want to become.

Activation & Mobility: Squat Holds Round The World @lizziefluke opens up shoulder complex for thoracic mobility. Great for postural stability, the aim is to keep chin away from your chest. Oscar did 3x5/5, 5 one way and then the other. He gets tight traps/shoulders, so this is a good mobility exercise, plus i can see movement restrictions. This was his 1st set, a wee bit tight as chin is down towards his chest, 2nd and 3rd sets were much better as things opened up more. Lead with your chest as you come up from bottom position. .

Back in business efter 4 dagars vila som gjorde gott. Fått vila bort all träningsvärk som aldrig annars ger med sig. 
På schemat stod det idag 4x4 på 90% av 1RM vilket blev 112,5 kg. Sjuuukt tungt men fick även känna i sista setet (ej på film) att jag klarar av att pressa igenom även när det blir tungt. Nyttigt för skallen!
Bänken blev 5x6 @57,5 med en PB 7a i sista setet 🥳🥳

• I started my cut at the beginning of May (left) at 146lbs , and here we are nearly 4 months later (right) at 130lbs, although I got as low at 129🤗.
• This cut didn’t start because I hated my body, despite what my RBF says 😂😂😂. My coach @theswolefessor and I merely wanted to do a small body recomp since I was so far out from my meet, and get me comfortably within the 63kg class.
• My caloric goals stayed the same the entire 4 months, and we never introduced cardio! Something my coach had to constantly remind me of is that it takes women a lot longer to see changes in body composition, so to stay the course and trust the process. I’m glad I have someone in my corner that I can trust!
• Because we took a slow approach to this cut I was able to actually GAIN strength as well! Too many people want to cut as much weight as possible in a short amount of time and they are forced to sacrifice strength because of that.
• Very much so looking forward to building myself back up and introducing some more calories to my diet 😂.

So most of us know that we have to curl in some way shape or form in order to build our biceps but there's actually a lot more than goes into the bicep such as the long, short head, the brachialis (which lies beneath the other two heads) and it's cousin with a even longer name brachioradialis.  All these muscle play a role in getting bigger arms and even the your forearm muscles which crossover the elbow is responsible for elbow-flexion movements can only aid yourself in increasing your bicep size.  Also even though the brachialis is a fairly small muscle and underneath the other two heads, increasing its size can increase the overall size of your arm.

So what I have here is the major muscle groups of your bicep and if you want well developed arms, you're going to have to hit all the muscle groups.
