HOW TO GET TONED! 🤩
I get asked this so frequently by girls and I often think they don’t even realize what they are asking! Being “toned” is having muscle definition, which means gaining muscle through weight lifting! 🤯 🏋🏽♀️ A lot of times girls have such a stigma against gaining muscle because they fear becoming “manly,” when in reality it will give them the toned and define look they want. So let’s talk about how to gain muscle! ⤵️
1️⃣ DIET- In order to gain muscle you need to be eating in a caloric surplus. In other words, you need to be eating more food than your body is burning. 🍔🔥 If you don’t, your body will not have the proper fuel it needs in order to grow and repair itself! 🍑💪🏼
2️⃣ WEIGHT LIFTING- I can not stress enough that lifting weights will not make you look manly or bulky as a female! Do not be afraid of heavy compound movements, they’re your friend I promise! 💪🏼
3️⃣ TIME- Give yourself time!!! ⏰ Do not get discouraged if you don’t see the results you want in a week! This process takes time, but if you stick with it I promise you’ll be happy with your results in the end.
