2 teams from #Vadodara have made India proud by reserving themselves in the top ranking list of WARC-WRO 2019 at Chongqing, China. Team of Aabir Sarkar and Rishiraj Behki got an Honour of International Champions and bagged Gold Medal 🏅 in the Junior High Category(age 13-15 years). And another team of Hriday Parikh, Shreyans Bohora and Aadil Sengupta got Silver medal 🏅 with the honour of 2nd prize. With the hard work and dedication teams have proved that they are the innovators of New India. Both the teams were trained and motivated to participate in this competition by their coach Bind Mukesh.
Gujarat is now charging up for an electric revolution.
Gujarat is all geared up to plug in to electric vehicles as the Government is now preparing to bring in 1 lakh electric vehicles by 2022 and push the citizens to start drifting to clean-energy.
A government is planning to bring about new policies that offers extensive incentives for using this vehicles. The policy is said to cover two-wheelers and commercial vehicles, whereas private cars are still in talks. To promote the use of EVs, the government has planned to reserve a large amount in subsidies and tax waivers.
An estimation of 80,000 of EVs will be two-wheelers; 14,000 will be three-wheelers; 4,500 commercial cabs; and 1,500 public buses, for which separate battery charging stations will also be set up across the state.
NITI Aayog has proposed that after 2030 only pollution-free EVs should be sold in the India.
