Get up! (turkish style) __________________________________________
Turkish Get Up- It's a highly dynamic movement that has a huge carryover to lifting heavy things. It does this by encapsulating a series of movements where you go from laying down to standing up with a kettlebell, dumbbell or a barbell without crushing your skull.

When you see your obliques coming through. Take a selfie 🤳 of course!  I had photos taken last week and my coach @jusswhitchurch mixed up my macros and had me eating extra carbs the night before 😲. Now the “old” me would have totally freaked out by this however I have complete faith in her and trusted the process and well I felt absolutely amazing that next day. 
I’m totally loving this journey I’m on, learning about nutrition and how my body responds.  From someone who lived on shakes, super low calorie diets to name a few this is huuuuuge progress for me.  My energy levels are through the roof and I can’t wait to see where the next 12 months take me 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Hold onto the fact that you can always get up, get back to it and carry on building back up. Что же может улучшить пауэрлифтинг:

1. Физическая сила

Все парни из вашей группы выполняют кроссфит тренировки в Rx формате, а вам приходиться масштабировать? В пауэрлифтинге есть хорошая черта, которая делает вас сильнее, гораздо сильнее.

2. Настрой

Работа с тяжелыми весами в пауэрлифтинге требуется определенной сосредоточенности. Все движения очень требовательны к технике и в случае ошибки могут привести к травмам. Таким образом увеличивая физическую силу пауэрлифтинг улучшает ваш настрой на тренировку. Это полезно во многих аспектах кроссфита, поскольку такая нагрузка требует огромного психологического напряжения.

3. Техника упражнений

Упражнения пауэрлифтинга очень требовательны к технике. Использование предельных весов, предполагает идеальную технику в каждом из основных упражнений (также не забываем про защиту). FEET UP BENCH

This movement is a variation of the bench press. The feet are elevated up off the floor, other than this the setup should be the same as your regular bench press.

Taking your feet off the floor makes it harder for you to stabilise. This forces you to think more about engaging your lats and core which can be overlooked with regular bench press. 
Eliminating leg drive places a greater emphasis on the chest, shoulders and triceps which make it a great accessory movement for upper body development.

As a side note you’ll most likely not be able to lift quite the same numbers compared to regular bench, mine are typically 10% lower.

Through combination of running, weightlifting, learning to cook and maintain a healthy/balanced diet/focusing on macros and enjoying good food rather than restrictive diets that shame you into getting unsustainable results.
I'm stronger and fitter than I've ever been in my life, can run up to 6 miles, have no joint pain, have a healthy relationship with food and am PROUD of what I've achieved.
